Education

CCANW organises year-round gallery talks, workshops, events and activities in its Project Space and the surrounding forest for children and adults. These relate to the changing programme of exhibitions, artist residencies and other projects. We also have a growing book and video library of titles featuring contemporary artists whose work engages with the natural world.

Autumn/Winter programme for schools 2009/10

Workshops for schools include discussion, reflection and hands on activity with cross-curricular links. For more information please click the relevant pdf link: Primary Schools or Secondary Schools or General Group Information.

Haldon Forest Park provides an ideal school or group outing combining art and recreation through the Park’s extensive cycling and walking trails. We positively encourage teachers and leaders of community groups to visit for a recce and discuss their needs with our Learning Programmes Manager, Johanna Korndorfer.

We are very happy to discuss proposals for workshops made by schools and community groups. Gallery talks are free but a charge is made for workshops. Both must be booked in advance. If you would like more information on fees and activities, please email Johanna at j.korndorfer@ccanw.co.uk
