School & group general info
New for 2012 for school and community groups visiting CCANW!

Outdoor Space: Neo-Geo Dome
Scheduled for completion in April, CCANW is erecting a 7.3m diameter education space, close to our building. The geodesic dome will increase our offer to schools and community gruops by providing additional space by providing a covered shelter for workshops, lunchtimes during inclement weather and other events. It will also enable us to accommodate larger groups of children from 20 to 30 children per workshop.
Haldon Forest Park provides an ideal school or group outing combining art and recreation through the Park’s extensive cycling and walking trails. We encourage teachers and leaders of community groups to visit beforehand to discuss their needs with our Learning and Development Manager, Johanna Korndorfer.
Gallery talks are free but a charge is made for workshops. CCANW- led workshops for schools include discussion, reflection and hands on activity with cross-curricular links. Both must be booked in advance. For more information on group visits including current charges, please click on this link: General Groups Information
If you any further queries or would like to discuss a proposal for a workshop, please don't hesitate to email Johanna at j.korndorfer@ccanw.co.uk
