School workshops for Key Stage 1 and 2

CCANW's exhibition programme is about Olympic Values through games played both indoors and out.  Workshops will inspire children through cooperative challenges and new understandings of cultural and natural heritage.

Learn fascinating facts about local games and see original versions of popular board games in our gallery.  Each workshop includes an interactive talk about the exhibition followed by a choice of the following workshop activities:

  •  Make and play a simple board game based on the natural and local heritage of Haldon and issues of environmental sustainability - includes a short forest walk.
  • Learn playground and cooperative games using both Haldon’s ‘hub' and forest setting.

 Workshop fees (all materials and equipment provided):

1 workshop, 1 ¾ hours:  £50 + VAT

2 workshops, 1 ¾ hours each:  £85 + VAT
